Recuerdo claramente el momento en que tuve el privilegio de conocer a Rashi. Fue el día que hicimos sus pruebas de maquillaje y peluquería en el hotel Eurostar Torre Sevilla. En aquel momento me quedé fascinada por su belleza y empecé a imaginar looks de maquillaje para ella. Imagino que a Chris le ocurriría igual al ver su hermosa melena.

I clearly remember the moment when I was privileged to meet Rashi. It was the day we did her makeup and hair tests at the Eurostar Torre Sevilla hotel. At that moment I was fascinated by her beauty and I started to imagine makeup looks for her. I imagine that Chris would feel the same way when hshe saw her beautiful hair.
Aquel día Christiane, y yo probamos looks de peinados y maquillaje con Rashi teniendo muy en cuenta la información que nos iba dando para cada uno de los eventos previstos con varios rituales. (Haldi, Sangeet y Boda con ceremonia religiosa hindú) y el numero de trajes que luciría, un total de cinco.
No me cabía duda de que lograríamos hermosos looks para su espectacular boda india.
That day, Christiane and I tried out hairstyles and makeups look with Rashi, according the information she was giving us for each of the planned events with various rituals (Haldi, Sangeet and Wedding with a Hindu religious ceremony) and the number of outfits she would wear, a total of five.
I had no doubt that we would achieve beautiful looks for her spectacular Indian wedding.

Each and every day that I did makeup on the beautiful Rashi, I enjoyed it immensely. Her golden skin and her eyes radiated light and emotion.
The first day I enhanced her delicate features with soft and natural tones. For the subsequent events scheduled for this wedding, I really enjoyed creating looks with shiny finishes in golden tones to give a magical touch to her captivating and radiant gaze.

A medida que avanzaban los días de celebraciones, la novia compartía con nosotras detalles sobre su vida. Eso hizo que nuestra conexión fuera aún más especial.
También tuve la oportunidad de maquillar a otras mujeres de ambas familias. Cada una de ellas llevaba atuendos tradicionales y joyas exquisitas que complementaban a la perfección su belleza natural. Fue un honor potenciar su confianza y hacer que se sintieran aún más hermosas en esos días tan especiales.

As the days of celebrations progressed, the bride shared with us details about her life. That made our connection even more special.
I also had the opportunity to do makeup for other women from both families. Each of them wore traditional clothing and exquisite jewelry that perfectly complemented her natural beauty. It was an honor to boost her confidence and make them feel even more beautiful on those very special days.

As time progressed, the colorful atmosphere became even more vibrant. I witnessed the coming together of two families, the coming together of two souls destined to be together, and I felt privileged to be a part of such a significant moment.
Esta boda india fue una sinfonía de experiencias, emociones y colores. Como maquilladora, no solo tuve la oportunidad de resaltar la belleza de estas preciosas mujeres, sino también de sumergirme en una cultura rica y cautivadora. Fue una experiencia enriquecedora que me recordó la importancia de la tradición, la unión y el amor en todas sus formas.
Cuando finalmente llegó el último día de celebraciones que culminaba con la boda, terminé mi trabajo y observé a la novia, y a las mujeres de la familia, no pude evitar sentir una profunda satisfacción. No solo se veían radiantes y hermosas, también irradiaban felicidad y confianza en sí mismas.
This Indian wedding was a symphony of experiences, emotions and colours. As a makeup artist, I not only had the opportunity to highlight the beauty of these beautiful women, but also to immerse myself in a rich and captivating culture. It was an enriching experience that reminded me of the importance of tradition, togetherness, and love in all its forms.
When the last day of celebrations culminating in the wedding finally arrived, I finished my work and looked at the bride, and the women of the family, I couldn’t help feeling a deep satisfaction. Not only did they look radiant and beautiful, they also radiated happiness and self-confidence.
Me despedí de esta boda hindú con el corazón lleno de gratitud y alegría. Fueron días que nunca olvidaré y que me hicieron valorar la belleza única de cada cultura y la importancia de compartir y celebrar nuestras diferencias.
Como maquilladora, siempre la recordaré como una de las experiencias más gratificantes de mi carrera dentro del mundo de las bodas.
No solo me permitió ser testigo de la belleza de una tradición ancestral, sino que también me recordó que el maquillaje tiene el poder de realzar la belleza interior de las personas y hacer que se sientan verdaderamente especiales en un día tan importante de sus vidas.

I said goodbye to this Hindu wedding with a heart full of gratitude and happiness. They were days that I will never forget and that made me appreciate the unique beauty of each culture and the importance of sharing and celebrating our differences.
As a makeup artist, I will always remember it as one of the most rewarding experiences of my career in the world of weddings.
