Una boda de destino Persa en Sevilla
La ciudad de Sevilla ofrece un sinfín de opciones para una Destination Wedding o boda de destino.
Los protagonistas de esta bonita boda persa, Angel y Babak se enamoraron perdidamente de la ciudad en una de sus visitas, y decidieron venir desde Canadá acompañados por sus familias y mejores amigos a celebrar la boda de sus sueños.
Los Wedding Planner Bodas del Sur, expertos en organización de este perfil de bodas fueron los encargados de este evento único y especial. Junto a ellos coordinamos unos meses antes de su Destination Wedding, las pruebas de maquillaje y peluquería.
Christiane Ogorek creó el peinado de la novia. Angel tiene una maravillosa melena así que optó por unas perfectas e increibles ondas glam .
Yo tenía muy fácil la misión de ponerla aun mas guapa con un maquillaje perfecto para la ocasión. Una piel impecable con un buen contorneado, eye-liner negro y sombras ahumadas para realzar los ojazos de la novia. Para los labios un color nude super natural.
Durante las primeras pruebas Babak, (el novio) estuvo presente. Esto es un detalle curioso para nosotras. Generalmente las novias españolas hacen sus pruebas solas o acompañadas por sus madres, hermanas o amigas.
Tengo que decir que Christiane y yo nos enamoramos perdidamente de ellos. Qué dulzura y amor tan grande nos transmitían :). Nos encantó como Babak participó y dio su opinión en todo momento según avanzaban las pruebas.
A Persian destination wedding in Seville
The city of Seville offers endless options for a Destination Wedding.
Angel y Babak, actually living in Canada, fell in love with the city during one of their visits in Spain and decided to celebrate their wedding in the company of their families and best friends in Seville.
The wedding planners ” Bodas del Sur”, quite an expert in this type of celebration, were in charge to organize this unique an d especial event. We coordinated with their agency, Angels hair and makeup trial some months before their destination wedding.
Christiane Ogorek created the bridal hairstyle. As Angel has got a gorgeous mane, she decided to wear her hair down with some soft glam waves.
As the bride is such a beauty, I had really an easy mission finding out a perfect makeup look for the big day. The bridal look she was dreamed of included flawless skin with a good contouring, black eyeliner and smoky eyesshadows to bring out her beautiful eyes and a nude and natural lip color.
Babak, the groom, stayed with us all the time during the trial. It was quite a new experience for us, as Spanish brides use to keep their bridal look top secret until the wedding day and only bring their mother, sister or their best friends.
We enjoyed these hours with both of them so much, as we really felt in love with this wonderful couple. They are the most warm and sweet persons you can imagine and observing how much they love each other, was heartwarming. We also appreciated a lot Batak´s opinion and participation during the whole process.
Un paseo por el barrio de Santa Cruz
El esperado día de la boda amaneció despejado y soleado en la ciudad. Mi equipo y yo llegamos al hotel Abba Sevilla muy temprano y empezamos a trabajar con la familia más cercana de los novios y con las damas de honor.
La mañana pasó volando y casi sin darnos cuenta María y Antonio de Rosseblanc estaban en la habitación disparando fotos por doquier y grabando cada detalle con la alegría y el buen rollo que les caracteriza.
Una vez preparada la novia, la sesión de fotos siguió en la terraza del hotel donde se podía disfrutar de unas impresionantes vistas a Las Setas
Mas tarde un coche de caballos esperaba a Angel para trasladarla al barrio de Santa Cruz donde Babak la esperaba para recorrer sus preciosos y mágicos rincones antes de partir para Casa Guardiola donde tendría lugar esta preciosa boda de destino persa.
A walk through the Santa Cruz district
The long-awaited day dawned bright and clear in Seville. My team and I arrived at the Abba Sevilla hotel in the earling morning and we started doing makeup and hair for the family members and the bridesmaids.
Time flew fly by so quickly and we almost didn’t notice that Angel´s and Babak´s photographers arrived. María and Antonio of Rosseblanc captured all these beautiful moments of the ¨making of¨ bringing their good vibes and joy, as usual.
Once the bride was ready, the continued taking pictures on the hotel terrace with its beautiful views of the city and Las Setas.
Later on, a horse carriage was waiting for Angel to take her to the Santa Cruz district where Babak was waiting for her to explore all these beautiful and magical corners before leaving for Casa Guardiola where this wonderful Persian destination wedding would take place.
Ceremonia Sofreh en Casa Palacio Guardiola
Una de las cosas que me encantan de mi trabajo en las bodas de destino es la oportunidad de aprender tradiciones y costumbres de diferentes culturas.
Angel y Babak celebraron en la espectacular casa palacio Guardiola, el Sofreh, un ritual presente en las ceremonias persas. La ceremonia fue oficiada por Diana Lacroix de @diariodeunanovia
Este ritual se caracteriza por la presencia de una serie de elementos situados en una preciosa mesa. Todos tienen un significado muy especial. Estos son algunos de ellos:
- Velas ( simbolizan la energía para su vida en común)
- Espejo (atraerá la luz a la vida de los futuros esposos, deben mirarse juntos en él)
- Frutas de temporada (para que tengan un futuro feliz)
- Avellanas, nueces y almendras (simbolizan la abundancia)
- Huevos (representan la fertilidad)
- Miel (Ambos introducen el dedo meñique y se la dan a probar al otro)
También queman Ruda, una hierba que simboliza la purificación.
Os puedo asegurar que esta linda pareja ha dejado huella en nuestros corazones, y no me refiero solo al mio y al de mi equipo sino en el de todos los proveedores que hemos formado equipazo para construir la boda de sus sueños.
Sofreh Ceremony at Casa Palacio Guardiola
One of the things I really love when I doing makeup for destination weddings is the opportunity to learn more about traditions and customs of different cultures.
Angel and Babak celebrated their Persian Sofreh ritual in the spectacular Guardiola Palace. The ceremony was officiated by Diana Lacroix from @diariodeunanovia
This ritual is characterized by the presence of several elements placed on a beautiful table. They all have a very special meaning. Here are some of them:
- Candles (to symbolize the energy of their new life together)
- A Mirror (to catch the light and bring it to the couple .They are supposed to look at it togheter)
- Seasonal fruits (for a happy future)
- Hazel (As a symbol of abundance)
- Eggs (representing fertility)
- Honey (Both insert the little finger and give it to the other to taste)
They also would burn Ruda, an herb that symbolizes purification.
I can assure you that this beautiful couple has left a mark on our hearts, I would say that not only my colleagues and myself, but all the members of the big wedding team that made true Batak´s and Angel´s dream, will always remember these special moments with our beautiful couple.
